The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, June 30 suggests Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) words of warning will concern Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Also coming up, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will accuse her grandfather of murder and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) agrees to an interview. Plus, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will invite Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to fly to LA.

Y&R spoilers tease Amanda will be walking through Chancellor Park and run into Sutton Ames (Jack Landron). “This is a tragic day,” he’ll say. Then he’ll explain Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) had postpartum depression after giving up her children. It might explain why she did what she did.

However, he’ll be shocked when Amanda asks him how he convinced her mother to take the blame for a murder he committed. “I will not stand for these wild accusations,” Sutton will say. Although he’ll admit he admires her standing up for her mother. He’ll then offer to hire her to defend Naya. “Go to hell,” Amanda will respond.

Meanwhile, Billy will roam around Genoa City, looking for the scoop on Ashland. The first place he’ll go is the Abbott estate. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ask him if he’s fishing for information on Ashland’s health. “If you go ahead and publish a hoax, not only are you going to come out looking a fool, but you’re going to open yourself up to legal action,” Jack will tell his brother.

Billy will thank him for his advice but tell him he’s not there to see him. He wants to get Tara’s side of the story about the Locke divorce. Jack will ask him if he wants to exploit his family for some clicks. “Don’t do this.” Tara will walk in and agree to talk to Billy. She’ll be surprised however, when he asks her if he should be concerned about Victoria. “If you’re okay with Ashland using her to heal his wounded ego then no, no cause for concern at all,” Tara will say.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Newman Suspects Ashland Locke Is Dying

At Crimson Lights, Billy will run into Victor and they’ll do their usual spiel. Victor will tell “Billy Boy” he’s creating his own downfall and will be digging his own grave sooner or later. “And I bet on sooner.” But Billy will tell him they need to put their heads together and fight the good fight. “Look Victor, if Ashland is lying and truly dying, I don’t have to tell you how much that would hurt Victoria.” He’ll tell him to stay out of Victoria’s business, but Billy’s words of warning will be ringing in Victor’s ears.

Finally, Ashland will invite Victoria to have dinner with him in Los Angeles. She’ll be flattered but will decline. As he’s leaving her office, he’ll run into Victor, who is standing in the hallway. Victor will walk in and Victoria will greet him. “The rumors are true, aren’t they?” he’ll ask her. “He’s dying.”
